Mercury 2026 – An International Meeting on Planet Mercury will take place from 1–4 September 2026 in Leuven, Belgium.

This conference will bring together the international planetary science community to discuss the latest advances in our understanding of Mercury, including new results from the MESSENGER and BepiColombo missions. The scientific program will cover a wide range of topics, including Mercury's interior structure and composition, surface geology and volcanism, tectonics and planetary contraction, exosphere and magnetosphere, and Mercury's formation and evolution.
The meeting will include invited lectures, contributed talks, poster sessions, and dedicated time for discussion and community interaction.

SIMP will offer two grants to support the participation of students and PhD candidates. The grants will cover the cost of early-bird registration fees (200 euros), which include morning and afternoon coffee breaks, lunches, the ice-breaker event, the conference dinner, and conference materials.

The deadline for the application is 7th of July.
